Hello to everyone who has been a dedicated follower of Stitches and to those of you who've happened upon us only recently. It's taken us a while, but we're finally catching up to the rest of the world and have become fully interactive with the launch of our new blog.

Every week or so, I will endeavour to start a conversation about a healthcare-related topic that will hopefully stimulate rigorous discussion, offering you a chance to add new insights or just call me an idiot. The approach may be tongue-in-cheek or bur-under-saddle, but with any luck, it will always be interesting.
