Stories As a magazine targeting the medical community, Stitches is primarily looking for articles - fiction and non-fiction - with a medical angle, however, we will happily review material that discusses other subjects.
As a general rule of thumb, departments run 400-700 words and features run 800-1200 words. Of primary importance is that the story is amusing or interesting, and for submissions that show promise, we will happily work with you to ensure that this is so.
Stitches pays CN$0.40/word for first serial rights, payable on publication, plus the right to place the article on our Web site.
Cartoons Stitches welcomes cartoon submissions and generally pays a rate of CN$50/cartoon.
